Taylor D. Starr

is PhD Candidate in History at York University. Her research interests lie within the fields of institutional, cultural, intellectual, and legal history. She is working on her doctoral dissertation “Invisible Barriers: Gendered Problems in Canadian Law Faculties, 1961-1994” which has received a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Fellowship, an R. Roy McMurtry Fellowship in Canadian Legal History, a Feminist Historical Research Scholarship, and an Avie Bennett Historica Canada Scholarship in Canadian History.
